Hi guys!

After sharing my Thailand trip, I got so many questions about Koh Kood and Koh Chang. Especially about how to get there, how transport works on the islands, and whether it’s really true that there’s no 7-Eleven on Koh Kood 👀

So instead of replying to the same DMs over and over again, I decided to put everything together in one place.

Just to be clear: This is not a full, researched travel guide. It’s a collection of my personal experiences, answers to your most asked questions, and tips from actually being there.

🌴 Koh Kood vs Koh Chang, which one is for you?

Both islands are located in eastern Thailand, close to the Cambodian border, and getting there from Bangkok takes around 8–10 hours in total. Sounds long, I know, but trust me, once you arrive, it makes total sense why these islands still feel so untouched.

In short:

A lot of you asked which one to choose, and honestly: if you can, do both. They’re very different, but they complement each other perfectly.
